I love games that really try to stimulate the eyes.
The DS Zelda games also disappointed me. I say bring Capcom back into the mix. Oracle of Ages/Seasons and The Minish Cap were jointly produced by Capcom and Nintendo. All three of them were great games.
This game just makes my eyes smile. Can't wait till grad school applications are out of the way.
Wind Waker ending spoiler...
The ending of Wind Waker was quite sad. You watch Hyrule that is under the ocean lose its protective bubble and flood. The King who was Link's boat throughout the game chooses stay behind in his land despite this.
I trucked through Twilight Princess with the expectation at each temple that magic would be introduced only to realize near the end of the game that there was no magic. This isn't so much of a failure, but that realization left a sour taste.
Twilight Princess was good, but it didn't feel as inspired as Windwaker or Majora's Mask. Those two games were simply amazing as they took a the Zelda formula and really tried some something different. Majora's Mask was...

Not a fair comparison. You "complete" Arkham City yet only finish the single player in Uncharted 3.
Lost Odyssey was great. I unfortunately am stuck on the 4th disc because Microsoft decided to put it in a sleeve with residue that renders the disc unreadable despite looking clean. I am too afraid to try the home remedy of dunking it in hot water.
Well, they have to leave room for Uncharted 4 given the trend so far in the series.

I really appreciate the trend of increasing the depth of the puzzles. In the spirit of Indiana Jones all the puzzles/trials don't have to be overly difficult in terms of complexity, but rather give a good theatrical moment as you solve or get the structure running. Looking forward again to what the Naughty Gods have done.
I am all for the developer getting the money they deserve, however I unfortunately think online passes will also adversely affect the online community. If you have to pay to play when you buy it used, then many will likely pass on the game. In my eyes I think this will slowly push games to be more serialized as the servers will be killed off sooner due to lack of use.

Jak II is probably considered the best in the series. Jak III likely scored a little less because the city looked a little bare, whereas it was alive and more fleshed out in Jak II. Regardless, both are some of the best games of the ps2.
Ever since they announced the circle pad addon, I have decided to wait until they release an improved 3DS. That thing is hideous. Come on Nintendo and announce it. Games that I want are starting to appear.

I know how you feel. I want to like Resistance, but I can't get over the feeling that it is just a FPS with Ratchet and Clank features tacked on. It lacks the charm that always brings me back to R&C. Honestly, I am looking forward to Overstrike more than Resistance. It has that Insomniac charm that Resistance lacks given the teaser I saw during E3. Insomniac is just really great at creating the atmosphere for goofy games -- and I love them for that.
Indeed, I just came from the article where he was interviewed by Gamespot and was thoroughly impressed by with how handled everything. Listening to him really gives me confidence in Sony and their plans.
I really enjoyed this. Unlike many interviews, the interviewer asked interesting and relevant questions and received answers that had some depth. Thank you Gamespot and thank you Yoshida-san.
I am the same as you. There may be a bunch of great games coming out on the Vita, but this is the one that manages to always grab my attention.
